Hi Folks,
I'm spending the weekend at my mom and dad's home this weekend for Father's Day. My laptop's connection to the internet was soooo slow here that I gave up trying to download pictures for the post I had planned and will do it when I get back home (probably tomorrow).
I hope you are able to enjoy your dads today, either by being with them or by calling them on the phone.
I spent time with my dad at the cemetery today with my mom, brother, and sister. He passed away almost 2 years ago. It was a very unexpected death and everyone that knew him misses him. He was/is an unbelievably kind, gentle man. Whenever I talk about him, it is usually in the present tense instead of past tense because I know I will see him and be with him again someday. He is with us still, just not in the physical form that we are used to. I'm very grateful and thankful for having such a great dad. I love you Dad!!!
There are a lot of super dads out there. There are also some dads that are maybe not so great. Whatever the case may be, we all have a wonderful Heavenly Father that continually watches over us and loves us. He will protect us and guide us if we ask Him. I'm also very grateful for my Heavenly Father who helps me through thick clouds that can impair my vision. We are all loved-- isn't it great?
